The Department of Agriculture Victoria
During the second half of last century the Department of Agriculture In Victoria worked actively with farmers to increase agricultural production and productivity. Its officers also served to link rural communities to government.
This project aims to record some of the main achievements, innovations and events of that period together with the reminiscences of the people involved.
Contributions are invited from past and present staff of the Department and from farmers and farmer organisation and community leaders who worked with the Department.
